Conforto acquires the McCroddan Partnership
Conforto Financial Management, the innovative fee-based independent financial
adviser (IFA) best known for its expertise in advising elite professional sports
people, has agreed to acquire the Hertfordshire-based, IFA, The McCroddan
Partnership (TMP) for an undisclosed sum.
The TMP deal is the first step in ambitious expansion plans for Conforto as it
aims to build its exclusively fee-based business through a series of acquisitions
and by widening its client base among high net worth individuals. In the year to
March 2008 fee income at Conforto was more than £1.1 million and assets under
management were in excess of £50 million.
