Succession success
When I set up this cover star revisit interview my timing was such that Michael
McCroddan was just about to complete the sale ofhis business to Conforto Financial
Management so I knew there would be plenty of big changes to talk about. An
important consideration for McCroddan was that he would continue to have a well
defined role and he is very happy to have become Conforto's new private client
director. "I can concentrate on clients and it opens doors as well," he tells me.
His new boss is Conforto managing director Andy Sutton who joins us for this interview
and he highlights the huge benefits in bringing McCroddan Partnership into the fold.
"One of them is Michael's experience and another is his family office background.
That's a new string to our bow, so there is real added value that fits in with our
long-term strategy."
