It is interesting that for many people, mortgages fall into a different category from most other financial products. It is curious that day to day, most people are far more interested in the credit interest rate that they are getting on their nominal savings account than on the debit interest they are paying on their significantly larger mortgage account. Sure, when taking out a mortgage, we all take time to look at all the options, all the rates and all the conditions to ensure that we get the best deal possible.
